Hi there, thanks for stopping by. You can tell that Chef Khan's passion revolves around cooking and creating experiences for people. One of mine, is dining out!


Ithink that one of life's absolute pleasures is restaurants. From the service to the ambiance to the menus - you could be sharing it with friends or dining alone. But in any given city, you may only know the magic you have just walked into once you experience another great restaurant. 


Chefs are the dynamic scientists of cuisine. Each chef is the creator of their version of food, according to their artistic and cultural influences. They know precisely how it should look, feel, taste, and digest, making them icons in a food-obsessed society. They are one obvious and talented component of a well-oiled, working machine.


 Wine pairs with food and has its role in the magic. This may not only be in a restaurant, but a retail store, at a tasting event, in the vineyard, or anywhere we go where there is an epiphany to wine and food. I have years of selling wine to restaurants and retail stores in New York City behind me and work as a Sommelier for private events. I love the art of wine and food together. 


Here we'll talk about everything from trending products, to wine and food-related topics;  from indulging to over-indulging, and waking up to do it all over again.
I'm including some carefully thought-out commentaries of restaurants  I visit, and wine bottles that I have found to be particularly fetching. When I decide to review a restaurant, I generally try to get a clear overall sense of the quality of the offering. When I am able to interview a chef, I feel I have a real piece of living ingenuity on my hands. 

Being a laid-back individual and a reluctant social media user, I try not to take myself too seriously.  Think of me as a guide to some secret treasures of personal great wine and dining, in NYC and sometimes beyond. hope you enjoy my musings and continue to  eat and drink well. ​ ​
